- I think we all agree that the power PC chips is about twice as fast as
- the equivalent Pentium. 200mhz Power PC chips will be available
- when the new Amiga is released. There aren't going to be any 400mhz
- Pentiums by that time.

- But even a 400mhz Pentium probably won't keep up with a Power Amiga. An
- '020 in an A1200 is a faster machine than any 386 running windows even
- though the 386 probably has 5 times the cpu performance. If the port of
- Amiga DOS to the RISC architecture is remotely decent we won't shouldn't
- be threatened by PCs for years.

- The only problem is you can get an 8meg Pentium for 650ukp + vat these
- days and that will become a 16meg Pentium 150 in a years time. The Amiga
- is going to have to be cheap.
